Background:

Our classrooms throughout the district carried out many exciting activities to honor and reflect upon the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. leading up to and on the national holiday celebrating his birthday. This included the 2019-2020 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Art, Speech and Writing Contests sponsored by We Energies.
This year’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. contests produced outstanding entries from students and many winners based on this year’s theme:
“Your Life Has Significance.”
