Background:
|
At its meeting on December 21, 2017, the Board adopted Resolution 1718R-012 by Director Voss regarding revisions to Administrative Procedure 8.20, Uniforms and Student Dress Code. The attached procedure has been revised to reflect the Board-adopted changes to the opt-out component that is part of the MPS uniform policy.

Upon approval by the Board, the Office of Board Governance will make and publish the necessary revisions to the policy.

Recommendation:

The Administration recommends that the Board adopt the proposed changes to Administrative Procedure 8.20, Uniforms and Student Dress Code, as indicated in the attachments to this item.
