Background:
|
In regard to Item 10 of the Regular Items of Business, below, Action on Negotiated Collective Bargaining Agreements with MTEA (Milwaukee Teachers' Education Association) - Teachers, Educational Assistants and Accountants/Bookkeepers, the Board may retire to executive session under the provisions of Wisconsin Statutes, Wisconsin Statutes, Section 19.85(1)(e) which allows a governing body to go into closed session for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session.
The Board may reconvene in open session to take action on matters considered in executive session or to continue with the remainder of its agenda.
